I use ChatGPT constantly for technical analysis, solution architecture, and planning complex roadmaps at work. It’s been my go-to AI tool for years, helping me think through problems that would normally take multiple meetings, whiteboards, and follow-up emails to untangle.

But lately, Claude has entered the picture in a very real way—especially when it comes to creating polished, executive-ready artifacts that save me time and mental energy. And now, suddenly, I’m not just a loyal ChatGPT user anymore…I’m comparing workflows, strengths, and trade-offs in the very real ChatGPT vs Claude debate.

Why ChatGPT Is Still My Ride-or-Die for Technical Work

Let’s be clear upfront in this ChatGPT vs Claude conversation: ChatGPT is still my number one.

Here’s where ChatGPT continues to shine:

ChatGPT would never cut me off mid-thought. And that matters more than people realize.

Excuse me?? We were in the middle of something.

For this reason alone, Claude will remain my number two.

But listen… number two is still very impressive.

So no… I’m not leaving ChatGPT.

But yes… Claude is absolutely in the rotation now.

ChatGPT is still my go-to for deep thinking and technical work.
Claude is my secret weapon for clean, professional, ready-to-share artifacts.

And honestly?
Having both makes my life easier—which is the whole point.
