Tech Tips for Bloggers: How I’ve Posted Twice a Week Since June Without Missing a Beat
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in this blogging journey, it’s that consistency beats perfection every single time. Since June 20th, I’ve committed to posting twice a week on Anxious African Mom—and I haven’t missed a single post yet. For someone juggling motherhood, a demanding career, and side hustles, that’s no small feat.
Today, I’m pulling back the curtain and sharing my tech tips for bloggers—the exact tools and systems that help me stay consistent while keeping my undiagnosed ADHD brain from spiraling. Full disclosure: my consistency is all thanks to technology.
1. ChatGPT Is My Blogging Sidekick
Let’s be real: half the battle in blogging isn’t writing—it’s figuring out what you actually want to say. That’s where ChatGPT comes in. I use it to:
- Organize my thoughts when my brain feels scattered.
- Streamline the focus of each post so I don’t end up with 2,000 words of rambling.
- Generate outlines, headlines, and meta descriptions that make my content more SEO-friendly.
We live in an era where people are always asking, “Is AI going to replace us?” My answer: if you’re not using AI, you’re going to fall behind the people who are. But that doesn’t mean AI replaces my creativity or my voice. Far from it. AI helps me get past the spinning phase—that panicked loop where you know what you want to say but can’t quite land it—so I can spend more time adding the personal stories and nuance that only I can give.
2. Notion Is My Idea Bank
When you live with a brain that’s constantly pinging with new ideas (hello ADHD tendencies 🙋🏾♀️), the worst thing you can do is try to “remember it for later.” Spoiler alert: you won’t.
That’s why I use Notion as my digital idea bank. The second a blog idea pops into my head, I jot it down. Later, when I’m ready to sit and write, I pull one from the list, plug it into ChatGPT with a structured prompt that includes my personal thoughts, and—boom—it becomes a structured post.
This plug-and-play system has been a lifesaver. No more Thursday night panic wondering what I’m going to post the next morning.

3. A Simple Posting Rhythm
I keep my rhythm straightforward: two posts a week, on set days. That way my readers know when to expect new content, and I don’t waste energy debating when to publish.
Pro Tip: If you’re trying to build consistency, treat your blog like a standing appointment. The more predictable it is for you, the easier it becomes to stick with it.
4. Why AI Isn’t the Enemy (It’s the Power Tool)
There’s a lot of noise about AI “taking jobs” and “replacing creatives.” I get the fear. But here’s the truth from my corner of the internet: AI can never replace my creativity or my unique voice. What it can do is remove the friction that steals time and focus—drafting the first outline, giving me several headline options, or untangling a messy paragraph into something coherent.
Think of AI as a power tool in your creative toolbox. You still choose the design. You still hold the brush. AI just helps sand the rough spots so your idea can shine faster.
5. Tech + Grace = Balance
At the end of the day, these tools don’t replace my creativity—they support it. ChatGPT keeps me from spiraling, Notion keeps me organized, and my posting rhythm keeps me consistent.
The result? A blog that’s growing steadily and a writer (me!) who feels a little less overwhelmed.
Because let’s be honest: moms like me don’t always have extra time to write. But with the right tech stack, we can make space for our stories.
Final Takeaway
If you’re a blogger struggling with consistency, lean on tech tools that lighten the load. Whether it’s ChatGPT for structure or Notion for idea capture, the right system can turn “someday” posts into published ones. And if people are questioning whether AI will replace you—don’t panic. Learn to use it, and you’ll be the one who moves faster, writes clearer, and gets heard.
I’ll be here, still showing up twice a week, proving to myself (and maybe to you) that it’s possible to stay consistent—even when life feels anything but.
