In the spirit of Christmas break quickly approaching us and children being home 24/7, I thought I’d share the cleaning products I have in my home that just make sense. I’ve always loved home decor but as I’ve entered my 30s and multiple children era, I at this point love anything that will make my life easier. I’m grateful that I have a 5 year old that can help to pick up after herself and her sister, but these products really help us to keep our house clean in between our monthly cleaner visits. Roomba 675
I know I said items were listed in no particular order buuuuh…this here roomba changed my life. It has been such a timesaver to have the kids pick up their toys (which is sometimes the more grueling task) and then have Alexa start the roomba when we go upstairs for bath time. We aim to run this daily so we can start the day afresh each morning. Some days it doesn’t happen, but on the days that it does- it’s glorious. My roomba is three years old, so I know there’s newer models out there. But this one has been holding it down and is certainly a more cost effective option since it’s an older model.
Bissell Powerfresh Deluxe Steam Mop
I love a good steam mop. I only use it a couple times a month so as to not damage the floors, but the feeling of sanitizing the floors gives me asmr for real. This steam mop heats up so quickly and its lightweight. The tank holds a sizable amount of water. This is usually enough for me to mop our entire 1st floor. The scent disc smells great as well. The mop is also great for any tough grimy spots on the floor, like dried food that regular mopping can’t get up.
Bissell Professional Power Shot
This stain remover has saved me from red crayon marks on my beige sofas and chocolate milk stains on my beautiful rugs. This stuff is magical! I used to buy it at Target and Meijer during my regular shopping trips, but now it’s been harder to find. Thank God for Amazon! If you’ve got small kids, order this! Just spray it on as soon as you notice the stain and let it do its thing. When you come back, the stain will disappear!
BISSELL Little Green ProHeat Portable Deep Cleaner – 2513G
For larger spills and stains, this portable deep cleaner is awesome! I’ve used it on our couch after a coffee spill and it cleaned everything up. The heat function can also clear up deep set stains as well, which is an added bonus.
Tineco – Floor One S3 Extreme
This is a “TikTok made me buy it” purchase. I bought this vacuum/mop during black Friday this year and listen let me tell you! It’s amazing! My favorite feature after the fact that it both vacuums AND mops at the same time, is that it’s self cleaning! Like…what a wow! The digital display and smart features make it super easy to use. It has sensors which guide it towards messes as you’re cleaning. I also love that the dirty water container is super easy to clean out. In general it’s an amazing addition to our cleaning products in the house that we’ve started using every other day.
O-Cedar Spin Mop
Another one! Another “TikTok made me buy it” purchase! I had been seeing this mop all up and down my timeline for months until I broke down and HAD to have one. Prior to this purchase, I hadn’t ever mopped in my house. I know I know…sounds insane. But we have cleaners that come once a month and they mop so please oh, no judgment. With a toddler and a 5 year old running around making messes daily, I thought it might be best to mop more regularly in between cleaner visits. The mop does not disappoint. The two bucket system is literally genius. I can’t believe it took this long for that to be a thing. I love the design and it’s super easy to use. An added bonus is seeing how dirty your floors were afterwards and feeling satisfied that it’s now clean.

Not altogether sure if this falls under cleaning, but this has made my home smell so amazing! IG ads did their thing, because they got me. I’m always looking for a nice candle or plug in to make my home not smell like stew all the time #IYKYK. I purchased this last week and it has my entire downstairs smelling like a hotel. I ordered the diffuser along with the White Tea scent because I absolutely LOVE how amazing Westin hotels smell. The smell is amazing and it truly covers the 800 sq ft they advertise. It comes with a smart setting that optimizes how the scent is dispersed. So far, the smell isn’t overpowering. It’s just right! I’ll also be purchasing another one for my upstairs.
